Release date: 06/12/2011
Release: CD

One thing is certain about The Mighty Mighty Bosstones: they aren't the most modest band around at all and why should they? They make music that has been a basic need for every ska-punker in order to survive. They have already been going for 25 years but don't feel like throwing the towel in the ring just yet. Their new record The Magic Of Youth proves this more than ever. All songs on the latest full-length are genious ska-punk songs full of sing along choruses, vibrant horn lines and raw vocals by the master himself, Dicky Barrett. While listening to songs such as Sunday Afternoons On Wisdom Ave, you just have no excuse not to get up and dance around the house. Don't mind the neighbours watching, just turn your volume up and let them enjoy this magic sound as well.
Every ska-punk (and everybody else) should get this record in order to know what real party music should sound like.
