Band: Till We Drop
The perfect pool party, that's the image I get when I close my eyes and listen to the first studio album by Hungarian pop punk hardcore kids Till We Drop. It's genius the way they alternate heavy breakdowns and catchy guitar tunes and sing along parts in the same songs. It's very clear that early pop punk heroes A Day To Remember are the most important influence for these Hungarian lads. The songs aren't complicated at all, but I'm quite sure that it wasn't Till We Drop's objective to make music with a message. They just wanted to make a record by which you feel happy again after having given it a listen. Songs like Be Kind, Please Rewind, Twenty Two and Such A Blur are a perfect example of that. Introducing J. Pussy (yes indeed, never mind some of the song titles) makes a big contrast as it is the most aggressive track on The Summer Triangle.
