Municipal Waste is a crossover punk/trash metal band that finds its origin in Richmond, Virginia and was established around the year 2000. The band played their first show at a New Year's Eve and band was blamed for inciting a small riot. But it wasn't until 2005 when the band got signed to Earache Recordsand recorded Hazardous Mutation (their second album).

This was the point that the band got more and more famous as it gave them opportunities like touring with At The Gates, Toxic Holocaust and Darkest Hour. The best thing about this band is that during the years their style has little changed. So if you loved them before their latest record will not let you down.
The songs are still about smoking weed, alcohol, freaks and violence. The downside of this record is its length. Although it has 16 tracks, the album only last 37 short minutes (that being the punk side of the band). So yes this is basically your typical Municipal Waste album, so fans will love it.
