Never change a winning team is a term that is written on the person of Mr. Udo Dirkschneider.  From his humble beginnings with Accept in the late seventies, till now you could easily say that he has never ever changed the style of music he’s playing.

This album celebrates his career with and after Accept.  After all he’s been in the business under his own name for some 25 years already, releasing album upon album.  It’s a double CD, with 25 tracks you cannot find on the regular UDO albums.  Not all of them are equally good, take the piano version of ‘Balls To The Wall’ for instance, but there are some interesting things on this album as well, like his version of Steppenwolf’s ‘Born To Be Wild’ a track on which UDO is joined by British band Raven.
Of the 25 tracks, more than half have been remixed.

For fans of UDO, Accept who are looking for something special, but also for those of you who want to buy an album covering the whole career of Mr. Dirkschneider.

90/100
