|CD REVIEW 3 Inches Of Blood|
Band: 3 Inches Of Blood
For the sake of making and defending good music, 3 Inches Of blood was born and have been slaying the non lovers of metal music for long over a decade now. Touring with bands like Motorhead and Exodus, these chaps now how to blast and create good music, albums and shows.
The first time I ever heard about this band was when I was playing video games in my younger days and all of a sudden this powerful metal anthem (Deadly Sinners) just exploded out of the TV boxes and blew me away and is still one of my favorites to this date. But when I went to look more up about their music I really wasn’t that impressed. Although fine metal, the other songs just couldn’t gave me the same feeling whenever I heard Deadly Sinners.
Now with their latest album “ Long Live Heavy Metal" m hoping for something better than their previous work. The band has thrown in some new elements like some softer songs (no ballads) and some folk, with makes you think that this is more of a Korpiklaani record then a 3 Inches Of Blood album. So it's different, not bad, but different and will take some time to adjust. But to be fair, this is good heavy metal so their album title has been well chosen.
